Top 10 List of Geeky Wedding Cakes

Wedding season is here, and the wedding cake is one component of the elaborate production of the day.  For those who may shiver at the thought of a large, traditional wedding with all focus on them, I found some encouraging inspiration for ways to still let one’s inner-geek shine on that special day: geeky wedding cakes.

10. Star Wars

9. Scrabble

Scrabble board game. The bride and groom used to play together over the internet while the groom was stationed in Iraq. We emphasized the letter K because the bride and groom both have names starting with K. Each tier contains lettered scrabble tiles forming the words marriage, love, laughter & family.

8.  Wii Joysticks

7. Facebook

6. Super Mario

5. Pacman

4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

3. Love Birds (eco-friendly)

2. Apple

1. Farmville Cupcakes: As if we weren’t already addicted to the pint-size sugar-sweet game, now Farmville can invade all aspects of personal life, including weddings.  Can we buy it using Facebook Credits?
